Oldham & District

Groups

Oldham & District U3A has a number of informal and friendly Groups which vary in type and size, meeting on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis. We also have regular outings and social events that are open to all members. Find out more by clicking on any Group(s) you may be interested in.

If you would like to join us, or if you are already a member, it may be that you have an interest, hobby or pastime you would like to share. Maybe you have knowledge or experience you could share with other members by way of a short course? If you have any suggestions please leave a message on the Contacts Page.

As you know the Oldham u3a is a completely voluntary organisation and we depend on members “putting a bit back in”

I ask you all to consider how you can help the smooth running of Oldham u3a by volunteering a little bit of your time and effort to keep us running. We are financially sound and have a healthy membership/ groups ratio.

You could help at monthly meetings, as Greeters (at the door), New Member Welcomers (showing people round) , or friendly refreshment servers. (a vital part of the meeting)
