The Intermediate Spanish group meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month from 4.00pm until 6.00pm at the Community Hub, Lees Library. All levels are welcome but some knowledge of the language is necessary for this group. We have a refreshment break to which members of the group contribute biscuits etc the library provides us with cups and hot water.

The library has introduced a charge for the room so each member of the group now contributes £24 per half year to cover the cost.

There is limited accommodation available at the library and at the moment we have reached our capacity of 16 members. However, those who wish to be placed on the waiting list can also receive our weekly files to see what we are doing.

We normally organise a summer and a New Year outing to a tapas restaurant and this year, 2026, some of the group are having a four day trip to Jerez which they have organised themselves and not an official U3A event.
