We listen to a wide and varied variety of music from Bach and Beethoven through to the present period including choral, orchestral, solo works and Jazz. Information and handouts are given to add interest to the music, and all discussion is welcomed.

During the session we listen to about 10 pieces of music, some being excerpts, because of the time constraint.

Our aim is to make classical and modern music accessible to people who wish to know more about it and to include the unusual and unfamiliar as well as known works.
